Growth isn't linear

I was an insecure child, and binge eating became my coping mechanism.

One day during a P.E. lesson, a lad called me a “fat c**t.” I ran past him but couldn't let it go. Twenty seconds later, I turned back and hit him.

Maybe I shouldn’t have done it, but that moment stuck with me.

It was the first time I stood up for myself. After that, I started lifting weights.

Lifting led to bodybuilding, which eventually led to steroids. I got huge, but it came at a cost. Physically, I was strong, but mentally, I felt terrible.

So, I quit steroids, stopped training, and started eating rubbish again. I lost the love for it all.

Fast-forward to now: I’m consistently training 2-3 times a week. But now, my challenge is eating enough food.

It’s ironic... I started my fitness journey because I ate too much, and now I struggle with the opposite.

The point is that growth isn’t linear. Your challenges will change, but what really matters is how you adapt and keep moving forward.

How have your challenges evolved over time?
