How I've stayed sober for 700+ days:
Staying sober and content for 700+ days comes down to 3 things
1. Fulfilment
2. Coaching
3. Routine
Here’s how I do it.
1. Fulfilment: Connecting with My Purpose Every Day
Fulfilment is all about connecting with my purpose each day. This keeps me from self-sabotage.
Every morning, I reflect on my goals and purpose.
I write down things I’m grateful for to stay positive.
I do one form of spiritual practise every day.
Breathwork
Or meditation
2. Coaching: Stretches My Vision Twice a Month
Coaching helps me stretch my vision and keeps me accountable.
Twice a month, I have sessions with my coach.
We set and review goals to challenge me.
My coach pushes me to grow and be better.
3. Routine: Structured Days for Consistency
Having a routine gives me structure and freedom.
I use a planner to organise my tasks and priorities.
My morning ritual includes exercise, meditation or breath work, and a healthy breakfast.
I have an evening routine to ensure I get good sleep.
Tools I Use
Google Calendar:
I use it to schedule my days and set reminders.
Meditation Timer:
It is literally just a timer...
Sleep Cycle:
To wake up at the same time and track sleep patterns.
There are loads more but I don't want to overwhelm. If this kinda stuff excites you hit respond and I'll write a detailed email on structure tools.
Fulfilment, coaching, and routine, along with these tools, have kept me sober and happy for over 700 days.
This combination helps me lead a balanced and purposeful life.
Sober does not equal boring. Setup your new life properly and you’ll fucking love it.
Big love
